I am a retired dentist from New Jersey and I
have been living in the Berkshires full time since '96. It is the best
time of my life. Besides the cultural benefits, the outdoor activities and
the swarm of new friends, I’m heavily programmed into volunteer jobs
(civic, cultural and educational)...and on the boards of most of these
organizations. There is never enough time for the painting, sculpture, and
writing that I attempt to do. The "frosting on the cake" is the four sons
and the nine grandchildren that my wife, Lenore, and I have and
